My work is abstract because my life was never flat. I am deeply grateful to my parents for giving me an education and shaping me into the person I am today. My father was a well‑known "Ebanista" on the island, and from him — and from my mother, who ran the family woodworking business — I learned discipline, craftsmanship, and the beauty of creating with your hands. Working alongside them inspired me to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and graphic arts. Everything I know, I owe to my parents. Their legacy is alive in me, and it is one I honor every day.
I don’t need distant idols; my heroes were at home, and I continue learning from their example. I love art, the sea, the countryside, and especially animals — cats are my favorite. I value my freedom, I reject negativity, and I am proud to call the United States of America not just my country but my home.
